Scarborough, ON. Roxanne James, newly elected Member of Parliament for Scarborough Centre was pleased to celebrate her office grand opening this past Friday at her constituency office located at the corner of Midland and Lawrence Avenue.

In a tight filled office, constituents, family, friends and members of the business community were on hand to meet and congratulate Roxanne on the occasion of her official office opening.

“Although we have been open to our constituents for the last three weeks, my staff and I are very excited about opening our office to you and your families today,” said James.

Since being elected, Roxanne was also honoured to be chosen to sit on the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration and the Standing Committee on the Status of Woman.

“As a resident, born and raised in Scarborough and as your newly elected Member of Parliament, I stand committed to serving you and making Scarborough Centre’s issues, Ottawa’s issues,” James concluded.
